This whole cloth quilt started out with a stenciling experiment that went awry. Rather than discarding the the blurry imagery, I decided to enhance it by adding crisp prints and hand stitching that echo the original shapes. The quilt is layered with cotton flannel, and backed with cotton print. It is edged with linen binding and hand quilted throughout. It hangs from a slat inserted in a narrow sleeve in the back.
